Hey, I’m Cat

For over 10 years I’ve called Milwaukee home.

I’m curious, creative, and intentional, and since I can remember, I’ve loved creating of all kinds: cooking, baking, painting, weaving, crafting. After getting my first camera in 2009 – a Nikon Coolpix – I found a new passion for documenting. It’s the way I feel I communicate best.

Getting to document others’ love has been a great honor. It’s inherently personal, vulnerable, and really freaking beautiful!

I bring my personal love for photography (especially 35mm film) to my filmmaking, keeping an eye out for natural compositions while embracing the imperfect, natural progression of the day. I also gather inspiration from nature (of course) and the way people gather in community to celebrate, support, and cherish one another.
